Challenge

Sarco Architects had an established website but the president, Roderick Sarco, was not pleased with the “About Us” and the “What We Do” pages.  He felt they didn’t adequately portray the depth of the firm’s capabilities.

Additionally, the company’s target market was international buyers who wanted a custom-built vacation home. Because those buyers would likely be overseeing the project from abroad, Sarco’s website had to instill confidence and build trust or buyers would be hesitant to proceed.

Solution

Susan Greene interviewed Roderick Sarco at length to learn about the company’s unique approach to design, which when coupled with its state-of-the-art 3-d modeling ability, made it technologically superior to most of its competitors.

She also highlighted the firm’s experience in working with international clients and the unique systems the company had in place to facilitate communication and ensure a smooth design-build process.

Susan also was able to write about the firm’s commitment to designing eco-friendly, sustainable homes, an important selling point to international clients.

The “About Us” and “What We Do” pages Susan wrote were longer than average, but Roderick Sarco knew his clients wanted that information.  Building a vacation home abroad is a major purchase.  Buyers want to know as much as they can about the company they’ll be working with to design their property.

Result

The new “About Us” and “What We Do” pages quickly ranked high on the search engines, helping to attract traffic to the website.  They also more effectively communicated Sarco Architect’s capabilities to high-end, international buyers.  The result was more and better qualified inquiries to the firm.
