Challenge

Blue Ocean Catastrophe Claims was a startup business looking to put down stakes and make a name for itself in the insurance claims adjusting industry. In addition to building a new website, the owners wanted to create a brochure that they could give to insurance companies when meeting them or send out to prospects electronically or via U.S. Mail.

Solution

The company hired Susan Greene to assist with copywriting and design of the brochure. Susan spoke with the clients to learn about their business and target market. She then wrote the copy and worked with her graphic designer to create an attractive presentation that would set the tone for future marketing and branding activities. In the course of designing the brochure, they were able to also create a logo for the company for use on their website and their business cards.

Results

The owners of Blue Ocean were extremely pleased with the brochure and began using it immediately to obtain customers. The images used in the brochure, including the logo, gave the company a starting point for its sales materials. Even though the company was a startup, with professional marketing tools, it looked well-established and trustworthy. The owners were able to gain access to national insurers and be considered for claims adjusting work.
