Challenge

Commonwealth Adjusters is a family-owned business that has steadily grown via word-of-mouth referrals for over 50 years. The company had a modest website that had limited information but at least gave them an online presence. They certainly didn’t rely on it to attract clients.

However, the public adjusting field had been growing rapidly, with many new players entering the industry. Those new firms have impressive websites, often to compensate for their limited history and experience.

For companies like Commonwealth Adjusters, that meant competitors were chipping away at their market share. If Commonwealth wanted to maintain its lead and continue to grow its business, it needed to upgrade and modernize its online presentation.

Solution

Scott Seeherman, whose father founded Commonwealth Adjusters, hired a web designer build the firm a new website. He then contacted Susan Greene, a public adjuster copywriter, for assistance in writing the copy. He had worked with Susan in the past to create a company brochure and sales letters.

Susan wrote all new copy for Commonwealth Adjuster’s newly designed website. The copy included landing pages for each of the company’s specialties including Fire & Lightning Claims, Wind & Hail Claims and Water & Freezing Claims. It also explained some of its unique services such as insurance appraising and risk management.

Result

With the new copy in place, the website was launched. Today, Commonwealth Adjusters enjoys a highly ranked website that generates new business leads for the company and also is a source of pride.
