Challenge

An Ohio-based company, Honeybee Home Healthcare provides much-needed caregiver services to the elderly and disabled throughout the Greater Cleveland area.

For a few years, owner Anna Mandac had been serving a select group of patients but the business was rapidly growing. She decided the timing was right to formalize the company, hire employees and begin widening its exposure with a polished website.

Anna searched for a copywriter who understood home healthcare services and could capture the kindness and empathy that she brought to her patients. Additionally, she wanted the website to be professional so that it would serve her purposes in recruiting experienced, qualified employees.

Solution

Anna chose Susan Greene, copywriter, to assist in developing the website. Susan interviewed Anna at length about Honeybee, its services, employees and patients. She then developed the site’s content.

The wording had to be right to attract the types of clients Anna and her team could best serve. It also had to begin the process of building trust with the customer, as hiring a caregiver for a loved one can be a scary proposition.

Result

Launching the website allowed Anna to talk with clients and then refer them to the website for more details. The site bolstered Anna’s credibility and helped prospects feel confident in her caregiving skills.

The website also helped Anna generate new leads from people searching online for a Cleveland-area caregiver.
