Challenge

The owner of Destination Specialists, Pendaeli Amos Musani, was actively promoting his safari company on social media. He needed a sales letter he could send to people who expressed an interest in travel and safaris. Because many of his customers were from the U.S., U.K., and Australia, he wanted the letter to be written by a native English speaker.

Solution

Pendaeli had previously worked with Susan Greene, an American copywriter, to produce his company’s website. The site had been effective in building the Destination Specialists brand and generating sales. He knew that Susan’s knowledge of the company would be useful in having her craft the sales letter.

Two key points Pendaeli wanted Susan to emphasize in the letter were that his company’s staff was 100% Tanzanian and the guides were true experts. Destination Specialists was therefore able to offer authentic safari experiences in Tanzania.
