When TraceParts added 500,000 registered users in just 18 months, bringing its total to 3.5 million, it wanted to publish a press release on its website and in the media announcing the achievement.
The company’s marketing team, located at TraceParts’ headquarters in France, knew what key points they wanted to include in the press release but wanted to be sure the information was professionally worded by an English native speaker.
TraceParts turned to Susan Greene, an American copywriter, to write the press release. Susan spoke with the TraceParts marketing team to get all the facts and also a quote she could incorporate from one of the Product Managers.
TraceParts was pleased with the press release Susan wrote and the publicity they subsequently received. The company has since contacted Susan to write numerous other press releases as well. And she has also developed templates that TraceParts can use in creating some of its own press releases in-house.
The copy for this press release is pasted below.
TraceParts Reaches New Milestone – 3.5 Million Registered Users
ROMAIN, FRANCE, April 15, 2019 – TraceParts, one of the world’s leading providers of CAD files and 3D models, has exceeded its previous record of 3 million registered users set in October 2017 by adding another 500,000 members in just 18 months, bringing its current total to 3.5 million.
Since its launch in July 2001, the platform has grown steadily in terms of content and number of users. It is now one of the primary resources for engineers and design professionals from all over the world who utilize the site to download millions of CAD models for industrial parts.
Because designs for new components are added daily to the TraceParts library, not only are more users continually registering for the platform but existing members are increasing their usage, which bodes well for suppliers.
“Our vast selection of standard components, many of which will soon be available in 3D models with full technical specifications, makes TraceParts an essential tool for designers seeking parts for their OEM products and machines. In addition to constantly expanding our library, we’re always adding new features and technologies that improve the user experience and maximize the number of leads for suppliers who publish on our platform,” says Bertrand Cressent, Product Manager at TraceParts.
In the past year, TraceParts has further refined its ultra-high performance search engine to deliver even faster, more accurate results. Additionally, the platform’s multi-criteria filtering system allows designers to fine-tune their CAD model searches to certain criteria such as type of parts, suppliers, standards, dimensions and specifications.
With a history of over 18 years of steadfast growth, the TraceParts platform now provides its members with online access to nearly 700 catalogs and over 111 million part numbers. Moreover, CAD models can be downloaded in all major native and neutral formats, which greatly simplifies and accelerates the design process for users.
